Yankees Minor League Notes: A Few Promotions

Left-handed reliever Ty Webb, drafted in 2013, has become the first player from that draft class to reach Trenton.    This is not surprising, as he was considered a fast track candidate.   Webb had a 2.77 ERA for Tampa with a 17/1 K/BB ratio in 13 innings.

Zach Nuding was promoted to Scranton earlier in the week and had a rough outing last night.   Although he has mostly been a starter in his minor league career, most seem to believe he has more of a future in the bullpen.

Miguel Sulbaran, acquired in the Eduardo Nunez deal from Minnesota, has been added to Tampa's roster.
