Game was suspended in the third inning, Scranton up 8-0.  Zoilo Almonte has two home runs (15) and four runs batted in thus far in this game.
---------------------------
Trenton (Defeated New Hampshire, 5-2)

1B/3B/OF Tyler Austin:  2-for-4, 2B (14), HR (5), 4 RBI, RS
.265/.322/.387 in 302 AB
Austin has been hitting very well lately.  He is 12-for-28 (.429) since the ASB and 15-for-36 (.417) in his last ten games with four doubles and nine runs batted in.    Start of a bounce back or just a random tease?
C/1B Pete O'Brien:  3-for-3, 2 2B (12), RBI, 2 RS, BB
.245/.291/.542 in 249 AB for Trenton.   In July, he is 20-for-62 (.323) with five doubles, a triple, five home runs, and nine runs batted in.  He has also struck out 16 times in those 62 AB.
C Gary Sanchez:  1-for-4, RS, 2 K
.267/.334/.415 in 318 AB
8-game hitting streak, though the last seven of those games are 1-hit affairs.
CF Mason Williams:  1-for-5, RS, K
.207/.279/.276 in 377 AB

C Francisco Arcia:  1-for-3, 2B (3), BB, K

RHP Zach Nuding (W, 6-2):  8 IP, 7 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 4 K, HR  (You don't see many 8-inning performances in the minors nowadays!)
3.99 ERA; 117.1 IP, 121 H, 56 R, 52 ER, 13 HR, 30 BB, 88 K for Trenton/Scranton.  Has been much more successful here than in Scranton

-----------

1B Greg Bird:  1-for-3, RBI, 2 RS, SF, BB, K
3B Dante Bichette:  2-for-5, RBI, RS, K
Up to .285 with 58 RBI in 361 AB
RF Aaron Judge:  0-for-4, RS, BB, 2 K

54 K in 50 games.  Also has 20 XBH
2B Angelo Gumbs:  3-for-4, 2B (12), RBI, 3 RS, BB, K
I have pretty much given up on Gumbs - but more games like this would change anyone's mind, right?
SS Cito Culver:  0-for-4, BB, 2 K
UTIL Jose Rosario:  4-for-5, RBI, 2 RS
C Trent Garrison:  2-for-4, 2B (7), 3 RBI, 2 RS, BB
Neither Rosario nor Garrison are considered prospects, but they (along with Gumbs) were the main cogs in tonight's offense.

RHP Brady Lail (W, 1-0):  6 IP, 6 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 0 K
All five runs given up in the first.
108 IP, 118 H, 55 R, 49 ER, 6 HR, 19 BB, 99 K
Threw 61.2 innings last year, so he is likely going to be eased at some point in the near future.
LHP Jacob Lindgren:  1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 0 K
Back to back outings where he wasn't quite as sharp as he was earlier
----------------
Charleston (Defeated Lexington, 6-4)

3B Miguel Andujar:  2-for-5, RS, K, SB (4)

41 walks in 87 games (104 K)
OF Dustin Fowler:  0-for-2

3.95 ERA; 13.2 IP, 16 H, 8 R, 6 ER, 5 BB, 17 K
Had a good season in 2013 after being signed as a non-drafted FA
RHP Eric Ruth (S, 3):  0.1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K

10th round pick has (predictably) hit the entire time he has been here.
C Luis Torrens:  1-for-4, CS (1)

31st round pick out of Cal-Riverside.   27-for-94 (7-for-9 SB) since signing on the dotted line.

4.06 ERA; 37.2 IP, 33 H, 22 R, 17 ER, 2 HR, 18 BB, 40 K
He will frustrate you and dazzle you - life as a 6'8" pitcher.
