Scranton (Destroyed Norfolk, 12-6.    Since May 26th, they have scored 100 runs in 12 games, and yet tonight's win broke a 3-game LOSING streak)

OF Adonis Garcia:  4-for-5, 3 2B (13), HR (4), 3 RBI, 3 RS
Hitting .312 in 205 AB.   Has shown an extreme reverse split, hitting much better vs. RHP than LHP.

All the way up to .340 as he is now 22 for his last 47 and is 17-for-28 in June with 11 runs batted in. Played LF again.

14th HR in 45 games this season overall with 38 runs batted in.

Trenton (Crushed by Altoona, 11-2)

2B Robert Refsnyder:  3-for-4, 2B (19), RBI
He is up to .335 and is 21 for his last 42 (.500) with 12 of those hits going for extra bases.  He has nine multi-hit games in his last ten games played.
1B/3B/RF Tyler Austin:  2-for-4, 3B (3), RBI, RS
Has hit safely in six of his last seven games, with four of those games being of the multi-hit variety.   Beginning to heat up.
C Gary Sanchez:  0-for-3, RS, 2 BB
Five straight games with at least one walk.

First game since 5/27.  Five hits in last 32 AB and he only hit .209 in 25 May games.
CF Mason Williams:  1-for-5, K

LHP James Pazos:  2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K
That should take the sting out of his Trenton debut (Two runs in 0.2 IP)
RHP Phil Wetherell:  1 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 1 K
Trenton debut after throwing to a 0.39 ERA in 23.1 IP for Tampa (though he did allow six unearned runs)
LHP Fred Lewis:  1 IP, 1 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 1 K
Ouch.  7.71 ERA since demotion.  He is lucky they didn't put him on the major league roster after spring training - because he would have been demoted quickly and would now be a candidate to be cut off the 40-man.
-------------------------------------------------
Tampa (Defeated Charlotte, 4-1)
1B Greg Bird:  2-for-4, 2B (8), RBI, RS
Has three two-hit games in last six played.    Slowly getting warm, but far from being hot.
CF Jake Cave:  0-for-3, RBI, BB, K
Recent slump has dropped him close to that .300 line (.301)
3B Dante Bichette:  1-for-4, K
.280/.367/.449 in 207 AB
C Francisco Cervelli:  0-for-3, BB, K
UTIL Claudio Custodio:  1-for-2, RS, SAC, K, SB (16)

RHP Rafael DePaula (W, 2-3):  5 IP, 8 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 8 K
3.96 ERA; 52.1 IP, 53 H, 26 R, 23 ER, 25 BB, 66 K
23-year old continues with his high strikeout rates.
RHP Nick Goody:  2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K
2.70 ERA; 13.1 IP, 10 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 1 HR, 4 BB, 22 K
Seems to be all the way back from Tommy John and could find himself in Trenton for the second half.  (He has thrown 20.1 innings at this level in his career; he threw 24.2 innings in Charleston in 2012 before getting promoted to Tampa)
RHP Cesar Vargas (S, 1):  2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K
Pitched to a 2.73 ERA and 31/7 K/BB ratio in 29.2 IP for Charleston before being promoted.  He did pitch briefly here last year (11.68 ERA in 12.1 IP).  Hopefully he has a better experience this time around.

Charleston (Lost to Savannah, 10-4)

OF Aaron Judge:  2-for-4, BB

Left game after the double.

Second consecutive start allowing six runs.   His ERA has jumped to 3.25  (55.1 IP, 44 H, 22 R, 20 ER, 3 HR, 23 BB, 60 K)
RHP Eric Ruth:  3 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 5 K
LHP Evan Rutckyj:  2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K
Demoted from Tampa, where he had a 3.65 ERA but with a 12/15 K/BB ratio in 12.1 IP.
RHP Giovanny Gallegos:  1 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 2 K
First game since 5/26.   Has a 5.31 ERA in 40.2 IP with 39/9 K/BB ratio.
