Yankees Minor League Report 6/7/14: Two More Hits for Robert Refsnyder.....

Just some random stuff tonight instead of a full report:

Home runs by Zoilo Almonte (8) and Adonis Garcia (5) lead Scranton to a 3-1 victory.  Preston Claiborne earned the save with a scoreless ninth.

Robert Refsnyder had two more hits and scored a run in Trenton's 4-1 victory.    He is now hitting .339/.381/.549 on the season....Mason Williams and Ben Gamel each had two hits (including a double) and a run scored....Matt Tracy earned the win in "relief" of rehabbing reliever Shawn Kelley (0.2 IP, 1 BB, 2 K).  Tracy went 6.1 innings, allowing a run on seven hits with a walk and two strikeouts.  Ty Webb earned his 4th save since joining the level, striking out the side in the 9th.

Tampa lost 4-1 to Charlotte.  Cito Culver hit his 13th double, while Dante Bichette and Greg Bird each drew a pair of walks.   Jaron Long made his High-A debut, lasting five innings while giving up three runs on four hits with two walks and five strikeouts....

Charleston lost to Savannah, 4-0.  Aaron Judge went 1-for-4 with his 12th double, while Gosuke Katoh had a pair of hits, including his 6th double.   Brady Lail fell to 7-3, lasting five innings while giving up four runs on nine hits with a walk and five strikeouts.
